Look in section 23.4.8 here: http://www.visionbib.com/bibliography/contentschar.html#OCR,%20Document%20Analysis%20and%20Character%20Recognition%20Systems If it's not there then you'll have to write your own, hire someone to write it, or buy some commercial OCR package that can do it, if there is one.
What do you want to do?
- Do you just need to get the job done and don't care how? If so, just buy some software - there probably is some out there though it may not be MATLAB-based.
- Do you not want to write any code, but just want to do it all in MATLAB with code that one of us wrote?
- Do you want to write your own? If so, start writing.
