I cannot start Matlab R2013a

I changed from window XP to 7 recently. When reinstalling Matlab I got an error message and the administrator wasn't able to debug me.
Immediately as the starting image appears then a warning message pops up saying:
"Warning: Could not read file classpath.txt"
While cliking on OK button everything vanishes.
I checked into the tools\local directory and this file doesn't exist there, so somehow the message is correct ... but this doesn't sole my problem.
Can you help me please.
Best regards Dan

Thank you, for this link. Partially solved my problem in the way that I learned starting Matlab without java ( -nojvm). So I have the matlab command window and solve for the path.m issues.
I have to find now how to recover the java machine! Dan

You mean that even after you called the Mathworks for installation help they were not able to fully solve your problem? I'd keep on them until they do.
