How can i recognize text using OCR from a digital meter?

Hello , I need help to recognize the reading of a digital meter (as shown) using OCR. I tried a lot but i failed to get any result from such images.

Did you use the OCR capability in the Computer Vision System Toolbox http://www.mathworks.com/help/vision/ref/ocr.html#bt548t1-2_1?
