EPS export not keeping text font

I am trying to save as EPS a plot where I have used the text() function with FontType Wingdings, but when export to the EPS file it converts the Wingdings symbols as the corresponding text in the keyboard. How to solve this? Thank you.

Did you search for "Matlab embed font eps" already? You will find many suggestions to try export_fig from the FEX.

Yes, but I keep getting problems with the ghostscript package. I installed it, but still error messages pop up.
