How can I down-sample the large matrix size in constant period of times?

I have the matrix size of 1302236x1. Now I want to read this matrix size after 30 interval each.

For example if I read row 1 then I want to read row 30 then row 60 then row 90 .... I want to reach upto 1302236.

How can I do this?

The distance between 1 and 30 is 29, while it is 30 from 30 to 60. I you want the elements 1, 31, 61, ... use:

Y = X(1:30:end)
