How to add a graph with axes in a GUI

Im trying to add a graph with axes from 1 to 1 into a GUI. The GUI has three buttons at the bottom and i need to add the graph above it. I tried using uifigure but it doesnt quite work. im not sure if that is what i am suppose to be using to get this but below is what I have so far.
The graph with the axes needs to be above these three buttons in the figure
