Load Data in For loop

i have n0,n1,...n9999.mat files
i want to load them in for loop
for r=0:999
aa = sprintf('%d',r);
load('n' aa '.mat', 'AAA') ;
end
but it isnt working what can i do

you need to concatenate the filename string. try
load(['n' aa '.mat'],'AAA')
