Are examples of simulink model in mathworks open sourced?

4 次查看(过去 30 天)
I am try to do academic research and complete a report. While I am doing the research, I find some simulink examples published in mathworks particularly useful for finding some results.
The link is here:https://www.mathworks.com/help/simulink/examples.html?s_tid=hc_panel
I know who the owners of the copyright(mathworks and Hydro-Qubec) are, but I can not find anything about the term of use for a lot of these examples. The file code simply shows"% Copyright 2022 Hydro-Quebec, and The MathWorks, Inc."
If I show the source of thoses examples and recognize the copyright of the original creators in my report, am I allowed to use these example with modified input data and complete an academic report based on that? The report is not going to be published on any journals, but I really want to use it as a part of my research project.

Hello Yuqing,
I understand you are looking for clarification on whether you can use MathWorks’ Simulink examples in your academic research, with due recognition of the copyrights involved.
Given that this forum primarily focuses on "technology" discussions, obtaining reliable answers to your copyright-related queries might be challenging. To ensure you receive precise and accurate information regarding your copyright questions, I recommend reaching out to our customer support team. I hope this clears your doubt.
