I am currently working on simulating a Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) UAV using the PX4 Software-In-The-Loop (SITL) framework in conjunction with Simulink. My objective is to visualize the simulation in Unreal Engine 5.3 using the UAV Toolbox Interface.
I have reviewed the available documentation on VTOL simulations and the UAV Toolbox Interface, including the HITL examples. However, I am specifically aiming to configure a SITL-based workflow using Simulink for the plant model and Unreal Engine 5.3 for 3D visualization.
Could you kindly assist me with: Providing guidance or examples on configuring the VTOL plant model for SITL using Simulink, targeting visualization in UE 5.3.

Hi Ankit,
TheUAV toolbox interface in MATLAB doessupports PX4 SITL (Software in the Loop) workflow. For integrating a Simulink plant model with flight controller running on aPX4host target refer the below link.
For running the PX4 host harget from theSimulinkmodel, refer the below link.
Finally, for visualizing 3D scenarios in Unreal Engine with PX4 host target simulation, refer the below link
Additional featured examples on PX4 SITL with UAV toolbox can be found in the below link.
