Average end to end delay in wireless networks

I need to calculate average end to end delay of a packet in a mobile ad hoc network simulation model. My model has a data generation block followed by a routing protocol block. The packet generation block generates a packet and the routing block routes it to the intended destination. What functions, simulink blocks or approaches can be used to determine latency or average end to end delay of data packets?
