Help! error : Undefined function 'writeRegister' for input arguments of type 'raspi'.

Hi! i am using raspberry pi connected to matlab and am using i2c device (adxl345). According to the matlab documentation, writeRegister is a valid function but i am getting this error Undefined function 'writeRegister' for input arguments of type 'raspi'. What should i do?
