i want to to show fade effect from moving one image to another
img1 = imread('a.jpg');
img2 = imread('b.jpg');
img1 = double(img1);
img2 = double(img2);
d =(img2-img1)./20;
f = img2;
subplot(2,2,1), imshow(uint8(img1));
subplot(2,2,2), imshow(uint8(img2));

A very simple correction:
d = (img1-img2)./20;
