I am trying to implement the exempler based image inpainting by criminisi.I want to understand the steps in matlab code.But an error pops up on my screen showing '.mex' file is not recognized.but i am having.Can anyone help me?

If you have no code constraints......you may have a look in the following matlab code. I found it to be more effective.
