Matlab Help

I am extreamly new to Matlab. I honestly have no clue whatsoever about the software and lucky for me I have an assignment due soon on it :)
I am completely lost on all questions I even have the text book but it just seems like I'm reading a different language.
Any help will be greatly appreciated :)

Are you sure, that you are allowed to publish a copy of the questions in the net? Usually professors do not appreciate this.
In my University students are not allowed to let their homework solved by others and an exmatriculation is a possible and applied reaction.
If your professor gave you these questions and you have a text book, but still feel like it is a foreign language, I recommend to change your field of studies soon. I'm not kidding. Maths on computers is no fun, if it is no fun.
