MRI Imaging: operation on kspace matrix - operate a diagonal symmetry

Hi, I am a full beginner in Matlab use and I have to process MRI imaging from a Kspace raw data matrix. I succeed so far to obained a picture and to operate simple change on the matrix (zero filling) but now I have to operate "diagonal symmetry" of the matrix. Despite looking in the help or in the net, I can't find anything matching to my beginner eyes.
Here is the question and the description of the operation to be done:
"5. To avoid the image errors in task 4 one samples more than half of k-space. In that way one does not miss the important signals around the centre. Furthermore one does not use the so called “zero-filling”. Instead one uses the (diagonal) symmetry of k-space and mirrors the sampled signals to the other half of k-space that has not been sampled. Test this. How does the MR image look like? How much can you speed up your scan time and still have a relevant MR image to look at (i.e. how many k-space lines can one skip to sample)?" Task 4 was 0 filling.
I have found that this operation was also named: "Phase Correction Conjugate Synthesis method" – Use central rows of k-space for phase correction of acquired k-space data – Use symmetry to get complete k-space. But not how to perform it...
I am just looking for the command to operate the symmetry, not the answer to the question!
thanks for your help!

hai..i am a beginner in mri image processing and MATLAB,i want to know that how you got k space data from image? Are you retrieve it from DICOM image format?kindly add the code that you have been used.

I'm trying do the same thing you've done in our program, but i haven't been successful in it. Would you please show me your code, to i can see why i'm not being albe to reconstruct the image. Please, do not let me without answer. Bye!
