I have a dotted line with asterisks in (X,Y). They are few points, but I would like to increase the size of the dots of the line connecting them. I tried to so it as follows but it did not work.

plot(X,Y,':*','LineWidth',10,'Color','[0 0.6 1]');

Is there an error message being thrown or is there no change when you run the code?

"It does not work" is a weak description of the problem. Please explain, what you see. Defining the Color as a string is strange. I suggest to omit the quotes around [0 0.6 1].
