i'm trying to import the *.dat file into matlab but, it seems to have worked but the numerical values haven't appeared as expected
filename= 'B00049.dat';
M= dlmread(filename,' ',3,0)
what was expected
6.000000 6.000000 0.592404 -6.204762
18.000000 6.000000 0.649312 -6.167631
30.000000 6.000000 0.892585 -6.061882
42.000000 6.000000 1.037982 -5.933423

what came out

does anyone have a suggestion please ?

Can't tell anything without the input file...use the paperclip to attach it or paste a short section.
