fmincon: Results dependent on release?

Hi all,
I am running some code containing an optimization algorithm. For this I am using fmincon function (interior-point algorithm). The problem is that in R2009a this algorithm is converging to an acceptable solution. The same code does not converge at all in releases R2010a, R2011b and R2012a. Is this a known issue? Checking the changelog for fmincon, I noticed a change after version 2009a (sqp algorithm). How could this be related? Thanks in advance!
