How to pcolor and convert a matrix 4D to 2D?

Hello
I have a temperature matrix with the structure of longitude,latitude,depth,values of temperature. But I want select just onde depth level and plot an image 2-D, with longitude(x axis), latitude(y axis) and values of temperature.

slice() is the easiest way, but you can just index and squeeze() and pcolor if the depth is one of the levels exactly matching a slice.
