Why? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Retinex#Retinex_theory " Although retinex models are still widely used in computer vision, they have been shown not to accurately model human color perception." What do you need to do? Maybe there's a better routine. Can you upload a sample, picture, for example to tinypic.com?
