Non-monotonic interpolation error

Hi everyone,
I do have a very complex problem using interpolation on a mutiple set of data with 3 different measuring tools. My data contains:
- Temperature data that fluctuates thru time
- Height measurement that corresponds to the time the temperature measurement was taken.
To summarize, I have 6 variables that has different time intervals, temperature and height data. What I wanted to do is to interpolate each of the dataset to a common height. Now, some of the temp data from each set are recurring (ex. cell1: 20 cell2: 20 cell3:20). To make it complicated, I cant change the data (add or subtact small points) coz its hypersensitive.
Is there a way to solve this? Thank you very much for the help, Im pretty much new to using matlab.

No, there is no way to solve that problem. The process of interpolating changes the data, so even if you did not have the non-monotonic error, you would be violating your requirement that you cannot change the data.
