I am trying to create an executable from Matlab. when i use Deploytool, it creates an exe file. However it should also generate a figure which is not getting generated.

? I would not expect deploytool to generate a figure?

Does your code involve the symbolic toolbox?

Rephrasing my question:

The Matlab code after compiling will expect an input file. After an input file is given to it, it should generate plots for the given input file. I used deploytool to create an exe file. I am not able to give an input file and obsserve particular plots after converting it to an exe file. How do I now observe the figures after converting it to an exe file?

I get "Not Enough arguments" as my error after i run the exe file.

Not enough inputs on which statement?

When you deploy you have to designate a function as the entry point. Does that function expect parameters?

It says not enough inputs on the statement where I need to give an input file (as i mentioned in the question). When i deploy, i mention the main file, all the functions being called in the main file are automatically mentioned in "files required for your application to run". No other parameters are required.
