Simulate obstacles in audio files

Hi, I extracted data from a stereo wav file, I would like to simulate an obstacle between first and second vector column (Left and Right of the audio file) so that I can recreate the effect of having two microphones next to each side of a basket ball, as an example.
Hope I have been clear enough.

Not sure what you mean by "place an obstacle".

Can you explain what your expected output could be by "simulate an obstacle between first and second vector column" ?
