There are no free keys for matlab except for some contest winners or people who work for Mathworks (or people who are writing books based on MATLAB). You will need to purchase matlab or obtain a key from an employer or university.

The volunteers who answer questions here do not have access to the license database.

If you have an existing license for R2019a or later, contact Mathworks Support to obtain the appropriate activation key for R2019a.

If you do not already have an existing license for R2019a or later, you will need to purchase a current (R2021b at the moment) license for MATLAB -- licenses for R2019a are no longer sold. An R2019a license entitles you to use any previous release. However if you have a student license, you might not be able to download a version of MATLAB that old, and might need assistance from someone with an Academic or Standard license to download something that old.
