Border type for uipanel in App Designer -- why only line or none??

Hello,

I am new to App Designer, used to use GUIDE. In designing an application (to look good) with GUIDE, I put a couple of uipanels layered, with a beveled out border. With App Designer, all that is available is "line" or "none". Why? And is there a workaround?

Hello Sam. Sorry to say, I have given up on AppDesigner until MathWorks gets it right. Too many issues with functions that worked fine and don't work. I think that the threat (or "recommendation") of the end to GUIDE has not been handled well. I'm hoping that work continues to improve AppDesigner, but I'm not holding my breath!
