Why is the data saved in a struct when 'To Workspace' block is used?

From a few days ago, every time I use to workspace block in a model the data is saved in a struct called ans (if the model is runned from the matlab) or in a struct called out (if the model is runned from the simulink). Do you know why? And can this be solved?

"ans" is most recent answer.
ans
"out" is simulation output (default setting of model configuration)
