I have an .avi file, I want to convert it to matrix format.

.Avi is in struct format, I want to convert it to matrix format so that I use those matrix data in my other code for processing. Help please!

Use VideoReader
v = VideoReader('xylophone.mp4');
numFrames = v.NumberOfFrames;
for i = 1:numFrames
I = read(v,i);
imshow(I)
pause(0.5)
end
