How to define the Y direction in a GUI axes

3 次查看(过去 30 天)
Hello,
Is it possible to rotate a segment of 30°?
In fact, i tried the rotate function :rotate(h,direction,alpha) but i can't figure out which one of my axis corresponds to The Ydirection.
The line to be rotated is : h2=line([-a,a],[wp,wp],'color','k','linewidth',1);
Any ideas please?
Thank you in advance for your help

The y direction/axis is the vertical axis. You can set the direction to be increasing going up or going down. To rotate coordinates, just use the usual 2 by 2 array [cos sin; -sin cos] to get your new coordinates. Then call line() with those.
