Why am I unable to startup the Requirements Management Interface (RMI) for the second time?

When I have closed the RMI and want to start it up again, I get the following error message:
Cannot find the Requirements Management Interface.
Please verify that it is installed and on the MATLAB Search Path.

This issue has been verified when using the Requirements Management Interface (RMI) for a second time.
Currently, to work around this issue, select "Show all nodes" from the View menu before closing the RMI Tool.
