Why am I unable to properly display and use blocks from the Gauges Blockset 2.0 (R14SP1)?

I installed the Gauges Blockset and the installation completed without any errors. However, when I open the Gauges Blockset library, all the blocks display the word ActiveX instead of the correct images.

This change has been incorporated into the documentation in Release 14 Service Pack 3 (R14SP3). For previous releases, read below for any additional information:

Normally, the installation process automatically registers the ActiveX controls associated with the Gauges Blockset. However, in exceptional cases the ActiveX controls are not registered with the operating system.

To correct this issue, do the following:

1. At the MATLAB command prompt, enter

gauges_register_ocx

2. Restart MATLAB
