Is it possible to define initial conditions for engines in SimDriveline 1.5.2 (R2009a)?

I am using the built-in SimDriveline demo model "drive_4wd_dynamics.mdl", and I have observed an initial negative engine velocity in the simulation. I am trying to define initial conditions for the engines in SimDriveline 1.5.2 (R2009a) to work around the negative velocity, but could not find such an option in the block parameters.

The ability to define initial conditions for the engine blocks in SimDriveline 1.5.2 (R2009a) or any prior versions directly in the block's parameters is not available.

To work around the issue, you can add an Initial Condition block and an Inertia block under the mask of the engine block. Note however that you must disable the link for this block with the library.
