I am very happy with ThingSpeak. I have a prototype Pico W project that it working well. I tried 6 other IOT platforms and ThingSpeak was the BEST! https://thingspeak.com/channels/2022886 I wrote about my experience here: https://forums.raspberrypi.com/viewtopic.php?t=346793 Very Happy with ThingSpeak, using Pico W with MicroPython Thanks for sharing! Can you tell us about the boiler project you have planned? What are you using the boiler for? Will you build in alerts for the temperature? Will there be data analysis of the recorded data involved? pico w micropython

Hi, I just buy a Pico W board that can be easy programming in Thonny IDE using Micropython library. But I find difficult to use thingspeak without compatible library and some examples. Please take this Raspberry board in consideration, it is cheap and it is more reliable. Thank you! Raspberry Pi Pico W - example We have some Pi examples for Python in the documentation. Thanks you for the suggestion, ill look into getting a pico. Hello, Anyone could help me to write data to a channel using micropython on ESP8266 or ESP32? I found nothing update on forums (Thingspeak, Micropython, web...) Thanks a lot Write data intto a channel with micropython/ESP8266 Any specific reason you're using Micropython on the ESP8266 or ESP32? Using the Arduino IDE or even PlatformIO it is so much easier to write C code. Would you consider using the Arduino interface to write C code? We have many <https://www.mathworks.com/help/thingspeak/examples.html?s_tid=CRUX_topnav examples> that will work for both ESP flavors. I was able to find this <https://blog.gypsyengineer.com/en/diy-electronics/micropython-esp8266-sending-data-to-thingspeak.html very decent example> , though I don't necessarily support the channel title selection. micropython
