These training materials will help your team get started with designing and simulating algorithms using MATLAB® and Simulink® for the following common navigation tasks:

  • Dead reckoning using wheel encoders
  • Line following using line tracking sensors
  • Obstacle detection using ultrasonic or distance sensors
  • Predefined sequence of tasks

A VEX EDR robot is used to demonstrate the performance of the deployed algorithms from Simulink to the microcontroller.
