Using Image Acquisition Toolbox™, you can acquire data from Microsoft® Kinect for Windows into MATLAB® and Simulink®. Microsoft Kinect for Windows is a natural interaction device with an RGB camera and 3D depth sensor.
Microsoft Kinect for Windows can be used to realize applications in fields such as robotics, kinesiology, and civil engineering. For example, you can steer a robot using Kinect by constructing a model of its surroundings with the 3D depth sensor.

Use DSP System Toolbox (a recommended product) to acquire Kinect microphone array data.
Support Package Installer installs this support package. To start the installer, go to the MATLAB toolstrip and click Add-Ons > Get Hardware Support Packages. For more information, read the documentation.
