RF Receiver Modeling

Model RF receivers using top-down design methodology

There are several approaches to designing a receiver. One approach is to establish gain, noise figure, and nonlinearity specifications for the entire system. You can use the RF Budget Analyzer app to set these specifications.

Another approach is using the top-down design approach, which incorporates hybrid beamforming antennas and analyzes RF imperfections. Incorporate hybrid beamforming antennas into your mm-wave transmitter and receiver modules by leveraging RF Blockset™, Communications Toolbox™, and Phased Array System Toolbox™ capabilities.

Once your design is complete, calculate RF impairments and model end-to-end communication systems using Communications Toolbox and RF Blockset.
