Description
The Arduino Engineering Kit Rev 2 provides students a strong understanding of basic engineering concepts. Students are able to connect what they learn with real-world industries, learn to think critically, and improve their depth of knowledge through experimentation.
The kit is a versatile, hands-on learning tool that demonstrates key control systems concepts, core aspects of mechatronics, MATLAB and Simulink programming, and other important engineering concepts while programming fun, interactive Arduino® projects including a self-balancing motorcycle, a mobile rover, and a drawing robot. The kit is ideal for advanced high school and college students.
The kit includes all the physical components needed to build the projects. It also includes access to online learning materials that introduce Arduino, MATLAB, and Simulink and guide you through the process of programming each project, teaching important engineering concepts along the way.
Educators can freely tailor the kit to their students' needs and their own curriculum. They can use this kit as the core of a new engineering mechatronics class or freely adapt the content to their own ideas and experiments while implementing MATLAB and Simulink, such as using it as part of laboratories and final projects.
The Arduino Engineering Kit includes a one-year individual user license of MATLAB, Simulink, and additional add-on products used in the projects. This license is for educational use only, not for government, research, commercial, or other organizational use.
